THE MAJESTIC WATERFALL

A tranquil 700-metre downhill stroll from the parking area brings you face-to-face with this waterfall. The thundering sound and mist will greet you before revealing this marvel of nature in all its glory. As you turn the corner, prepare to be captivated by the sight of cascading water that will surely leave you spellbound.

The water rushes down a 63-meter drop crashing into the pool, below the waterfall before continuing its journey through canyons. Surrounding the river and waterfall are cliffs covered in rainforest along with several mini canyons and pools. Downstream from the base of the waterfall, there are spots for swimming and those feeling adventurous may choose to jump or dive into the pools of the river! Visitors can find changing rooms, restrooms, and food and drinks available at a nearby restaurant.

THE DINING EXPERIENCE

The restaurant, designed in a style with sides to embrace its picturesque setting, fully offers mouthwatering meals that have been hailed as ‘unmissable’ by TripAdvisor reviewers! Positioned close to the waterfall on days diners can see a fine mist wafting between their tables. A charming touch is a stream running beneath the walkway leading to the restroom area! THE LOCATION

Situated an hour’s drive from Dominical, this 222-acre property is accessible via a maintained public gravel road branching off from the Dominical San Isidro highway.

There are bridges in place to ensure safety and year-round access. The internal road within the property passes by structures such as the cabin, restroom facility, parking area, and office/accommodation space. Adjacent to the waterfall trail are the stables offering a 700m walk (or horseback ride) through the rainforest. Above ground, you’ll find pasturelands, jungles, and alpine ponds bustling with fish and ducks. The views from the pasturelands extend from the towering mountain covered in jungle to the peaks and hills of the ranges. The self-contained Cabin features a kitchen, living area, and two bedrooms – one with a bed and one with a bed – accommodating up to 4 guests.

The two individual Rooms come equipped with a TV, bathroom facilities, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee makers, for your convenience.
One bedroom has a bed for up to two guests while the other room features a bed and a single bed accommodating three guests.

THE HORSE STABLES

Situated next to the office and accommodation building the stables are fully equipped to house up to 85 animals. This sturdy and secure structure serves as a hub for the horse trekking business offering adventures like riding to the waterfall and restaurant or exploring the lush pastures and jungles on horseback.

THE CAMPING AND EVENTS AREA

Located near the restaurant, this spacious covered area can accommodate tents, host cultural performances, organize seminars, and more. It comes with facilities such as water, electricity, bathrooms & showers, changing rooms, and a designated campfire spot.

THE CATTLE PASTURES

The property is home to a herd of cattle that grazes on the pasturelands. There’s potential for expanding this herd to establish a permaculture business. Additionally, ponds are teeming with fish and ducks in the upper regions of the pasturelands.
